Simponi Aria Infusion

What is Simponi Aria?

Simponi Aria is an anti-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) biologic medication.

Inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis are caused by an overactive immune system. The immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues, leading to inflammation, pain, and other symptoms.

TNF is a protein that is involved in the immune system’s response to inflammation. It is produced by certain cells in the body and helps to regulate the inflammatory process. However, in people with inflammatory conditions, TNF is produced in excess, leading to chronic inflammation.

Simponi Aria works by blocking TNF, which helps to reduce inflammation and relieve the symptoms of inflammatory conditions. By reducing inflammation, Simponi Aria can also help slow down the progression of these conditions.
